James Filleul

James Filleul - Managing Director

James is Direct Input's co-founder and Managing Director. He created the company after leaving the BBC where he started as a trainee and left as producer for BBC Spotlight in the Channel Islands.

James has built Direct Input into one of the Channel Islands' largest PR agencies with a reputation for providing insightful advice as well as delivering high quality work that delivers client messages to the right audiences in the right way. James' knowledge of the media has ensured that Direct Input is well respected by the news organisations which it works with on a regular basis.

James is also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and sits on the council where he has responsibility for communications.

 

Paula Thelwell

Paula Thelwell

Paula Thelwell has extensive experience in local journalism, having worked for eight years as a senior news reporter at the Jersey Evening Post, covering a number of major specialism including Planning, the environment, heritage and the States. She currently writes a weekly comment column for the JEP. Paula joined Direct Input in September 08, having spent the past two years as Head of Business Development at Jersey Heritage. Prior to a career in journalism, Paula worked in the sign, print and display business sector. Paula is also chairman of the Holocaust Memorial Day Committee Jersey and is actively involved in the twinning between St Helier and Bad Wurzach.

Pauline Ramskill

Pauline Ramskill

Pauline has over ten years experience within the Channel Islands' PR and marketing industry. After graduating with a BA Honours degree in Communication, she began her PR career within a pan-island marketing agency where she built up client experience across business sectors including finance, retail, commercial, legal and accountancy. More recently, as an in-house Marketing Manager she was responsible for planning and implementing PR strategy, traditional marketing and emarketing strategies.

Since 2005, she has also been the volunteer publicity officer for the Jersey Committee for Cancer Research UK and helped the charity to organise a number of high profile fundraising events such as Race for Life and The Pink Plunge.

Victoria Harper

Victoria Harper

Victoria has over 16 years of experience in broadcasting and PR. During her career Victoria has travelled and worked abroad extensively. She has worked as a reporter, producer, news editor and news anchor in South America, Australia and Russia. Her most recent permanent post, away from home, was in Moscow, where she worked as one of six news editors selected to set up and run Russia's first English speaking 24 hour satellite television Channel.

Victoria will also be recognised by some as a freelance presenter with Channel Television, where she first started her journalistic career as a young reporter after studying Law, Psychology, Philosophy Theology and Italian at University.

Victoria was also Jersey's first Police Public relations and Press Officer, planning PR strategy for the force, working behind the scenes on many royal visits and assisting with the media coverage of major incidents in the island.
