MEDIA TRAINING SERVICE
MEDIA TRAINING
COURSE OBJECTIVES
If you ask the media themselves, they’ll tell you that ‘media training’ is pointless – just answer all the questions openly and truthfully. If you’ve ever been on the end of tough media interview, it doesn’t feel quite so straightforward. How do you get your point-of-view across in a stressful, unfamiliar, high-risk situation, when the person asking you questions may have a very different objective than your own?
It’s a very challenging scenario, and one which needs careful tuition (all based on actual interviews) and guided rehearsal using a fictional scenario. The training can be based on a group, or one-to-one, depending on each client’s requirements; it can be general, or focussed on a specific issue. Our courses cover all types of media interview from TV to print, ‘live’ to pre-recorded.
DI is the most experienced media training company in the Channel Islands, having coached senior executives, board members, top politicians from across the Islands and the UK, and even members of a royal family.
DI has run media courses as far afield as the Middle East and Caribbean, and is well versed in putting together bespoke training which equips clients to deal effectively with whatever media scenario they may be facing.
